Everyday, our energy system is put under various forms of stress, some short term, some long, and some which become part of our way of being.
We take on worries, our hormones and body biochemicals fluctuate, we get sick, get injured, are asked for decisions, are asked for help, come face to face with conflict, loss, love and possibility. Our minds, bodies and emotions don’t always recognise what to do for the best.
Kinesiology asks the energy system for the whole picture, finds the priorities in an order that is most beneficial for the individual, regardless of the nature of the symptoms. From knee injury to food intolerance, life trauma to life decision, kinesiology can help you with your goals and concerns.
If you’re not sure whether kinesiology is for you, why don’t you get in touch? I am always happy to talk it through, and offer Introductory Sessions at the Centre of Complementary Medicine in Petersfield, where you can experience how it feels, and what it might be able to do for you.
In the middle of the last century, bio-energetic connections were discovered between your muscles and your meridians,. Kinesiology established that by monitoring muscle response we can communicate with the body at a deeper level. This is called muscle testing.
Using a combination of structured verbal questioning and muscle monitoring we gather bio-energy information directly from your system so that we tailor a treatment to you.
Muscle testing is a non-invasive technique. You lie on a couch, fully clothed, and light pressure is applied to the arm. The muscle response determines where blockages lie along the body’s 14 meridians, and tells us exactly what your body needs to bring its bio-energy back into balance.
We work with a comprehensive range of techniques, from which a unique combination will be tailored for you and your needs. Methods are gentle and may include holding acupuncture points, thinking a word or a sentence, use of magnets and essences, or use of your own hands.
Sessions can be both calming and energising. As well as work completed in a session, kinesiology will often identify things you can do for yourself on a day-to-day basis.
”I hesitated when I first went for kinesiology because I didn’t think ‘alternative’ was for me. However, Caroline’s skills, along with her positive and sensitive approach, really delivered and changed my pre-conceptions.” MI
